The Gold, Silver, & Crystal Chapter is the third arc of the Pokémon Special manga.
Overview[]
In the first volume of the gold, silver, and crystal, Gold ends up traveling to Prof. Elm's(Utsugi) lab with Elm's assistant ,Joey (Gorou). Gold loses his backpack that has his pokemon whilest traveling with joey however.. When they arrive to the lab, Gold ends up sneaking through the back door, but ends up catching silver in the act of stealing totodile! Gold ,thinking Silver stole his back, ends up grabbing cyndaquil ,naming it Expo( Explotaro), to fight silver. Silver ends up fleeing though during the middle of their battle. Gold ends up finding his backpack, but realizes his poliwag ,polibo(politaro), is missing from his backpack! He travels to the Ilex forest , and ends up finding a mysterious man by the name of the mask of ice. Gold begins a pokemon battle with the mask of ice, but he ends up fleeing... The next chapter is started off by Gold finding Polibo(politaro) and chasing after silver. Gold ends up hatching a togepi egg, and he names the togepi togebo.( Togetaro(togebo genuinely is the most terrifying thing I've ever seen). Gold eventually learns that Silver was kidnapped by the mask of ice when he was three, so Gold vows to help silver reenact revenge on the mask of ice. They end up being frozen and end up on the whirl islands (TO BE CONTINUNED I PROMISE I'M RLLY TIRED)
